Logan film trailer: BLOODY final promo for Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine 3

THE FINAL Logan trailer has arrived, featuring Hugh Jackman’s damaged Wolverine, Patrick Stewart’s frail Professor X and a closer look at X-23.

X-Men fans are waiting with baited breath for what will be the Aussie actor’s ninth and final movie as the Wolverine.

Logan promises to be a character-driven sci-fi Western with more violence and swearing than any other movie in the franchise – except for Deadpool.

The final trailer for the new movie is here and gives a closer look at X-23, Wolverine’s female clone.

Apart from Jackman’s first use of the F-word as Wolverine, another R-rated feature sees X-23 unleash her claws and slash open a man’s throat.

Another highlight sees Wolverine holding an X-Men comic, which X-23 has been reading before commenting on how some of it is true.

The official synopsis of the film was also shared by the star on his Twitter account.

It reads: “In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hide out on the Mexican border.

“But Logan’s attempt to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young mutant arrives, being pursued by dark forces.”

The film is a direct sequel to X-Men: Days of Future Past, which saw Wolverine change the timeline to a more much more pleasant 2023 than before.

Logan is set a year later and sees the introduction of X-23, who is a female clone of Wolverine

Meanwhile Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds has seen a large chunk of the film and claims it is Oscar worthy, citing its focus on character.

The star is also actively trying to convince Jackman to play Wolverine for a 10th time in Deadpool 2.
